Founder & President

AJ Mahar

AJ has spent twenty years inside basketball - as a player, a coach, and a general manager. He was Vermont’s Player of the Year in 2004 and played in a D2 National Championship game the next season. He coached at Albany Academy, where his team won the 2013 New York State and Federation championships; at Southern Vermont College, part of two league championship staffs; and as head coach at Mount Anthony Union, where he was twice named league Coach of the Year. Most recently he has run front offices as general manager of TBT franchises including Armored Athlete and Assembly Ball, Indiana University’s alumni team.

That resume matters for one reason: AJ has sat on every side of the table - player, coach, and front office. He knows what a program is thinking when it recruits your athlete, because he’s been the program. That’s the perspective he brings to your family’s decisions.

Head of Development

Vinny Vetrone

Vinny is the reason development isn’t a talking point at LOGO3 - it’s the foundation. He has coached from the Big Ten to the NBA’s Basketball Africa League, where he was an associate coach in Rwanda in 2022. He’s been to the TBT Final Four three times and the final once. He came up the honest way: team manager at Rutgers, graduate assistant at Austin Peay, then years of player development work.

The athletes he’s worked with tell the story better than adjectives can: Terry Taylor (Pacers, Bulls). Eugene Omoruyi (Mavericks, Thunder). Haywood Highsmith, who played in the NBA Finals. Gabe York. Tyler Scaife and Ameryst Alston in the WNBA. Not a roster we represent - a body of development work you can look up.

Outside General Counsel

George Kernochan

George Kernochan got his start in basketball as a student manager at Fordham University. He worked his way onto the team as a walk-on, then stayed on after graduation as a Graduate Assistant Coach. From there he spent a season with the Brooklyn Nets in basketball operations before heading to law school at Tulane.

Today George is a practicing attorney at Rupp Pfalzgraf LLC in Saratoga Springs, New York, and serves as Outside General Counsel to LOGO3. He reviews and negotiates the contracts LOGO3's athletes sign with universities and collectives, making sure nothing in the fine print works against them. He also coaches as the varsity assistant at Ballston Spa High School.

George has been the manager, the walk-on, the coach, and the intern.
