“It felt like family.”

Steven Sherman didn’t choose LOGO3 for a pitch. He chose it for a feeling. “It was more like a bond - a family bond,” he says. “They treated me like family, everybody with respect. It was a homey feeling. Like, these are the people you need around you - the ones who are going to make you better.”

That feeling got tested where it actually counts: in the decisions. Where to play. What to chase. What to turn down. “They helped me see the value in each option,” Steven says. “Basketball’s a progression game. So which decision is going to make you better - which one leads to longevity - instead of just getting something easy?” That thinking is what led him to commit to the University of Rhode Island.

Most people would call that the finish line. For Steven, it was the part that surprised him most. “AJ’s help didn’t stop once I committed. He’s constantly supporting me - my weight-gain journey, my basketball journey, my IQ, everything that comes with the game. He’s coaching me up on all of it. Not just as a business guy - as somebody who’s been there and done it.” AJ still checks in almost twice a week.

And it was never just Steven in the room. “Everybody’s in the loop - my mom, my coaches, everybody he’s connected to.” Ask about his mom and Steven laughs: “She talks about him almost all the time. They’re always in touch.”

One athlete. One decision at a time. A whole circle, kept in it together - long after the choice was made.
